How Much Does Real Estate Photography Cost in Vancouver? (2026 Pricing Guide)
Short answer: in 2026, professional real estate photography in Metro Vancouver runs about $150–$300 for a photos-only shoot of a typical condo or house, and $500–$1,200+ once you bundle video, drone, a floor plan and a 3D tour. At REV Studio the photos-only packages are $180 (condo), $200 (townhouse) and $220 (house up to 2,500 sq ft), every photo edited, delivered within 24 hours. Below is how the numbers break down and what actually moves the price.

What actually changes the price
- Property type and size. A 600 sq ft condo is 15–20 frames and under an hour on site; a 4,000 sq ft West Vancouver home is 40+ frames, more lighting work and more editing. Most companies tier by square footage for this reason.
- Editing standard. “Edited” can mean anything from a quick auto-correct to full HDR exposure blending, colour correction, vertical correction and sky replacement. The cheapest quotes usually skip the latter. Ask what the photographer means by edited.
- Turnaround. Next-morning delivery is common in Vancouver; same-day rush is often +$50–$100. REV Studio delivers within 24 hours at no extra charge.
- Add-ons. Drone, twilight, video and 3D tours each add to the base fee. Bundles are usually cheaper than booking separately — our Matterport + floor plan bundle is $240 +GST versus $410 +GST separately.
- Travel. Many providers charge $20–$75 to reach Surrey, Langley or Maple Ridge. REV Studio charges the same package price everywhere in Metro Vancouver.
Which package for which listing
- Condo or rental listing: photos only ($180). Add virtual staging if the unit is empty; buyers respond noticeably better to furnished rooms.
- Townhouse or standard detached: photos ($200–$220) plus a floor plan. On the Vancouver MLS a floor plan is one of the most-clicked attachments.
- Detached home with a yard or view: photos + drone (+$160). Aerials show the lot, the neighbourhood and the view in one frame.
- Luxury or unique home: photos + twilight + drone + Matterport 3D tour + a 2-minute 4K film. Expect $1,000–$1,300 all in, still well under 0.1% of a $1.5M sale.

How to compare quotes
Ask these five questions and the cheapest quote often stops looking cheap:
- How many edited photos are included, and is HDR blending standard?
- What is the delivery time, and is rush extra?
- Is there a travel fee for my area?
- Can I add a floor plan, 3D tour or drone in the same visit?
- Do I get MLS-sized and print-sized files?
REV Studio’s answers: 15–25+ HDR-edited photos depending on property type, 24-hour delivery included, no travel fee in Metro Vancouver, everything shot in one visit, MLS and full-resolution files included.
